The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is trying to catch a diaper dumper.
For the last year, residents living in the area of Lake Montezuma have complained of finding soiled adult diapers on the streets, the sides of roads, even on highway ramps.
Diapers have been discovered near Beaver Creek Golf Course on Montezuma Avenue, and occasionally near freeway entrance and exit ramps to Interstate 17 at Beaver Creek Road.
Investigators say the adult diapers are usually dirty, and pose a public health threat.
