Why Do People Mock Juggalos?

So tonight I saw this documentary titled "American Juggalo," which takes a look at the "subculture of Juggalos" by attending the Insane Clown Posse's yearly "Gathering of the Juggalos" event.  The whole point was to go and let the Juggalos speak for themselves, since they are often mocked, misunderstood, whatever.  For those of you who are fortunate enough to NOT know what a "Juggalo" is, it is the name for the fans or "family" as they call themselves of the Insane Clown Posse.

Going back to 2 years ago, our very own site even listed Juggalos as the number 1 most annoyingly idiotic people on the planet.  I don't even know what to say about them, the documentary says it all.  It seems they are trying to be the new age Woodstock, with free love, drugs, and alcohol flowing which makes them "SUPER bad asses."  It also seems like they are outcasts that no one else likes, so they just band together and say "fuck the world" and they think that somehow makes them cool.  And the women?  Yikes.  Somehow talking trashy, looking trashy, and in some cases just being totally naked right out in the open makes them "free."  Seems like "Trashstock" or "Gathering of the Wanna-Be Gangstas" would be a more fitting name for this event.

Now don't get me wrong, I think the Insane Clown Posse themselves are smart.  They created characters that were appealing, gained a huge following, and make all kinds of money.  Just because they draw this group of hillbilly/wannabe gangsta outcast fans doesn't mean they won't take their money.  Somehow I highly doubt Shaggy 2 Dope or Violent J would ever hang with any of these "people," and maybe after viewing "American Juggalo" below, you will see WHY people mock them.

Rihanna Debuts New Single "We Found Love" - Owns iTunes

The news of the day in the music world today was the debut of Rihanna's new single "We Found Love," which is the first single off her NEW album that will hit in November.  That's right, Rihanna just debuted the video for "Cheers" which is off her current "Loud" album, yet she already has a new album on the way.

It seems like ever since she got her face punched by Chris Brown, Rihanna has been determined to change her image to being the baddest and raunchiest bitch anywhere.  Really, the only good thing that came out of that relationship were Rihanna's leaked nude pics.  But now she is she sexing things up as much as possible, and releasing album after album, all of which have produced multiple hits.  Looks like she's not slowing down at all, as this new album is on the way even though she is still on the Loud Tour (currently in Brazil ass (oops I mean as) seen on the right) which just launched over the summer.

"We Found Love" dropped earlier today, and now just hours later it is in the iTunes top 10, already surpassing "Cheers" on the list.  Lady Gaga is the first person I think of when I think of the top female in music, but with Rihanna becoming the Queen of popularity on Facebook, and not too far behind Gaga on Twitter, Rihanna has quietly crept into position to be right up there as one of THE most popular women in entertainment.  The first single already kicked iTunes ass, the album will no doubt sell like crazy, and another tour will no doubt take place....take THAT Chris Brown.

Troy Davis Executed in Georgia

So I hopped on Twitter tonight to see if anything was going on in the world, and all I was seeing was a ton of talk about Troy Davis and Charles Manson and death......I really had no clue what the hell had happened but thought maybe Manson had kicked the bucket in jail.

As it turns out, I was unaware that death row inmate Troy Davis had garnered such a huge following to that point that even celebrities were on Twitter supporting the stoppage of his execution.  Davis was convicted of murdering an off duty police officer back in 1989, but claimed he was innocent right up until his death.  I was unaware of all the details of the story, but an article on his execution on Fox News did a good job of catching me up on all the details.

With such an uproar caused by all this, with protesters outside the prison and even people calling for President Obama to get involved, it's crazy they went ahead and carried this out.  Davis had avoided execution since 2007, but it seemingly could no longer be avoided, or at least that's how things were viewed in Georgia.  The reason Charles Manson was also trending is that many have said it was insane to think that someone like Manson could still be alive but Davis had to be executed.  It seems many don't realize that Manson didn't actually murder anyone, so that pretty much ends that convo.

What are your opinions on Troy Davis?  Will he be remembered as an icon that shouldn't have been executed?  Or was he someone that had a record and was involved with the wrong crowd which ultimately lead to his incarceration?  Share in comments below.

Ryan Dunn Jokes at Charlie Sheen Roast. Steve O is Not Amused.

Tonight the Charlie Sheen Roast aired on Comedy Central. And everyone has lost their minds over the Ryan Dunn joke that Amy Schumer said.

Hard to hear, but basically she jokes that we all wished that it was Steve O who died instead of Ryan Dunn. And as you saw, Steve O was not amused.

As a fan of both Ryan Dunn, and of these Roasts, I see nothing wrong with it. It's a ROAST. There is no such thing as too far. Because you see, here is a little something that not many people are aware of.

"The last time this many nobodies got roasted at least the band Great White was playing."

That right there, was a quote from Steve O, who made a joke about the people who died in the Station Nightclub Fire back in 2003. You know, that one where the pyros from Whitesnake set the place on fire, killing 100 people, and injuring a couple hundred. Comedy Central of course yanked that joke.

So don't feel bad for ol Steve O.
