Rocky 3 and 4 Movies in Action Figure Form!

As a Rocky fan, these videos made my day recently, so I can't help but share them here on DevonLohan.com. For anyone that is a Rocky enthusiast, we were overjoyed with the news that Jakks would be releasing a complete Rocky line of action figures a couple of years ago. Their line was awesome, and had some great figures that went deep into the movies, featuring characters that you REALLY had to be a Rocky movie enthusiast to know (Even Frank Stallone got a figure!) But these videos take it to the next level, a complete overview of Rocky 3 (my personal favorite Rocky movie of all time,) and Rocky 4, with the Jakks action figure line! The music is there, the multiple looks of the characters from different points in the movies, and even the legendary Rocky montages are there. When i see Rocky and Apollo figures running on the beach and training, and when I see a bearded Rocky figure climbing mountains and training in the snow, its a true feel good moment for Rocky and even action figure fans. The time and effort that went into this had to be huge, so a huge thumbs up to the creators on these classic creations. So sit back, and enjoy, the greatness, that is Rocky 3 and 4, in figures!

Rocky Figure Collectible 6 Pack Exclusive Announced!!

Jakks has done it once again, and doing it big this time. RockyFigs.com has announced a huge 6 figure box set, that will feature 1 Rocky Balboa figure from each of the 6 movies. This set just looks cool, and is definitely a must own for collectors. You can pre-order now and the box set is going for $59.99, so its probably priced for the true collectors out there, but this an awesome display item, and what might be the biggest box set that Jakks will produce for the Rocky Series. I wrote about the last exclusive announced, which will be the awesome Apollo vs. Drago 2 pack, but this new 6 pack may very well be the crown jewel of the series (Although I may take that statement back if they come out with "Robert Balboa: Complete with Coat" in series 5, as this was momentous in Rocky movie history :-/ ) As always we'll keep the updates coming on the latest figures in the Jakks Rocky Series and WWE Classic Series Lines.

Ringside Collectibles Exclusive Apollo Creed vs. Ivan Drago 2-Pack Announced!

RockyFigs.com reports that Ringside Collectibles has just announced their latest exclusive in the Rocky Series, which will be Apollo Creed vs. Ivan Drago. This is awesome news, and definitely a deserving exclusive. As I've stated in my original Apollo Creed post, I was less than thrilled with Apollo's death in Rocky 4, but this set honors Apollo's last Rocky movie appearance well. When I first read the story, I figured we'd be seeing Apollo vs. Drago in fight gear, but to my surprise its actually their press conference gear, which is very cool in my opinion. I'm a huge fan of the Rocky series and love when Jakks releases figures in different attires from certain classic moments of a movie such as this press conference. The set is up for pre-order now, but won't ship until late June, although you can use the discount code ROCKYFIGS and receive 10% off your pre-order, thanks to RockyFigs.com. This will be the only chance to grab these figures in this attire, so you won't be finding them in stores ever. Jakks does it again, and can't wait to see more exclusives, and we'll have the news here first when more information becomes available on future sets.
