Britney Spears held her own kids hostage on Thursday night. The police were called to her home after she refused to turn over her children to Kevin Federline's bodyguard, like she was supposed to do.

Sean Preston and Jayden James are now in the safe and better hands of their father, as Britney Spears was rushed to the emergency room for psychiatric evaluation, and because police observed her to be under the influence of some unknown substance.

Additionally, according to new reports:

"The stress and mental anguish of the ongoing custody battle and deposition has caused Spears to 'lose a tremendous amount of weight in the past several weeks."

Britney is clearly out of control. Some would say she's this generation's Marilyn Monroe, to which I always respond "Yeah, but at least Marilyn had talent and was hot."

The AP reported earlier today that a judge has already suspended Britney Spears visitation rights with her kids...after about a week or so. The reason given was that she had not complied with court orders. Since the news broke, TMZ.com reported: “We’ve learned Brit did not provide the drug testing people with contact information so they could reach her to facilitate the random tests, and that is what triggered Commish Gordon’s action.” So yeah, Britney must really be one of those mothers that can't stand to be away from her kids, and will stop at nothing to be able to be with them....yeah, keeping up with every last detail there. Of all things we'd expect to read with this story, drug test failure.....another hit and run incident....being cause yet again without panties.....nope, all we get is "she didn't provide an address." Oh well, the saga continues, as Britney's crusade to make K-Fed look like a more outstanding human being by the day continues.

BREAKING NEWS: Britney Spears and Kevin Federline Custody Case comes to a Close!

Holy shit!

A Los Angeles judge confirmed this week what we’ve all suspected all along, that Britney Spears still has a substance abuse problem.

And, if she wants to keep her two kids, she’s gonna have to get sober and stay clean!

“Based on the evidence presented, the Court finds that there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances by Petitioner [Spears],” will have to undergo testing for controlled substances and alcohol. The testing shall be conducted twice per week on random dates and times, and the results will be forwarded to the court.

In addition to drug testing, Britney and Kevin - who still maintain 50/50 custody of Tater Tot and Small Fry - will have to both adhere to a long list of court-ordered demands:

· Neither Brit nor K-fed can take Sean and Jayden out of state without the written consent of the other.

· The exes cannot make derogatory statements about each other.

· Both parents must complete the “Parenting Without Conflict” program.

· Each party is restrained from using corporal punishment with the children or allowing anyone else to.

· They are required to engage in joint co-parenting counseling.

· Neither party may consume alcohol or non-prescription controlled substances 12 hours prior to taking custody of the children.

· They must ensure that any prospective childcare professionals hold valid Red Cross infant CPR training.

While the responsibilities for Federline end there, Judge Gordon tacked on an extra list of tasks for Spears. In order to maintain the current shared custody agreement, the popstar must:

· Attend individual counseling at least once a week to address parenting issues.

· Meet with a parenting coach for a minimum of 8 hours a week, in at least two sessions a week. The coach is to observe her parenting skills and her interaction with her sons and provide Federline with a written progress report by October 22.

Suffice to say, this is HUGE news for people following this case. Unfortunately for the children, they're not being taken away... but alas, that's Hollywood!

HUGE Breaking News! Britney Spears to LOSE kids!

Monday was one of the worst days Britney Spears has had in a long time, and she’s had some pretty bad ones recently.

First, her lawyer quit. Then her manager dropped her. And, finally, the day ended for her with Fox News reporting that Spears will lose temporary custody of her two kids.

The news network claims that the Los Angeles Family Court received new information over the weekend and based on that and all the info they already have, they will give full custody (albeit temporary) to KFed.

The ruling is expected to be handed down shortly. :-0

Britney Spears: Could lose kids as early as tomorrow!

Britney Spears could lose custody of her two little kids as early as tomorrow morning.

This is a real possibility thanks to crusading Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred. She’s bringing a “secret” witness to court tomorrow for the custody battle between Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Forget reports that the “secret” witness doesn’t matter or won’t be heard. In fact, last week Allred filed a signed declaration from the witness, described only as a man who’s had close observation of Spears behavior with her kids, with the court.

The judge in the closed hearing case, Commissioner Scott Gordon, has the declaration, and does not have to rule on it. He can simply read it and enter it into the case’s existing papers. The only way the witness would testify is under cross examination. In other words, the declaration has already served as testimony. It would only be if Spears’s side decided to question that the witness would be asked to speak.

And the witness will be there with Allred at 8:30am. I am told that the witness could blow Spears’s chances of keeping little Sean Preston and Jayden James. The likely observations from the witness concern drug usage by Spears in her home and in front of her kids.

Spears can simply forget reports that were spun to other websites that Gordon wouldn’t allow Allred in, or simply rejected the testimony of the unnamed witness. Allred told me yesterday when I reached her by phone that Gordon accepted the declaration and even praised her work.

That’s not good news for Spears, who just had a disaster on the MTV video Awards and is also trying to complete an album due in stores on November 13th. Last week photos of her without underwear were widely disseminated on the internet. Federline’s attorney is sure to mention that in court on Monday as well.

Allred, who is often embroiled in very public cases, means business here by the way. She’s kept the witness’s identity a “secret” so as not to start a publicity war. But when the declaration was filed on Friday, Spears and her attorney Laura Wasser would have learned his name. I am assured the person in question is not a drug dealer, and that his credentials will hold up if examined in court.

“You may recognize him as we walk into court,” Allred told me. “But maybe not. He is not famous. He’s just someone who’s concerned about the kids.”
