Nick Hogan, Nick Bollea, Son of Hulk Hogan, GONNA SERVE HARD TIME!

This is awesome news, this stupid ass kid is such a fuckin twat, and he crashes his car giving his friend brain damage for life and he just goes about his merry little way. Well now hes gonna go his merry little way to the fuckin BIG HOUSE!

Nick Bollea was arrested for Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury. He will be transported to the Pinellas County Jail. Bollea, who is the son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, was involved in a high-speed crash in August that left his friend critically injured. 22-year-old John Graziano remains in the hospital, reportedly on life support.

Police have been investigating the crash, but up until this point, no charges had been filed. Investigators say Bollea was racing his Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper when he lost control and crashed into a tree. The driver of the Dodge Viper, 22-year-old Daniel Jacobs, has been issued a court summons for Reckless Driving.

In addition to Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury, Bollea is also charged with: Use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony, A person under the age of 21 operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of .02 or higher, and illegal window tint.

Nick's rep, Adam Handelsman, EVP of 5WPR, issued the following statement to TMZ "Nick and the entire Hogan Bollea family are saddened that criminal charges have been filed in regards to the tragic single car accident on August 26, 2007. Nick will meet and answer these charges in the appropriate arena ­ a court of law."

The statement continues. "The family's primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick's longtime friend John Graziano. The Bolleas will also continue to stand by the Graziano family and help them in any way they can. The tragedy to both families is compounded by the fact that unfortunately John was not wearing his seatbelt. Thankfully, Nick was wearing his. Because of what happened to John, the entire Bollea family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seatbelt. There has been much speculation as to the speed and wet road conditions surrounding this accident. Although all the evidence has not been evaluated, preliminary reports from the experts indicate that this was not, in fact, a high-speed accident. Because Nick is still a juvenile and has no prior criminal record, we are disappointed that he is being charged as an adult offender. However, we are confident that the evidence will demonstrate that this was an accident. We ask all who follow these events to keep an open mind as to the facts until they have been ultimately determined. Finally, we thank all who have prayed for John's recovery and ask for your continued support and prayers."

Nick Bollea aka Nick Hogan was in an auto accident in Downtown Clearwater, FL this evening around 7:30EST.

The passenger is in critical condition. Nick Hogan is in serious condition with a broken arm and head injuries.

Firefighters had to extract Bollea and his passenger, whose identity was not immediately released, from the wreckage. Both were flown to a hospital in nearby St. Petersburg, Florida, Shelor said.

"They're both down there. Nick's father is down there," he said.

Police said Bollea -- known to viewers as "Nick Hogan" -- was not as seriously hurt as his passenger, who was listed as critical.

"I will have this road closed for a minimum of four hours," he said. "It was a spectacular wreck." said the police chief.

Classic WWE SummerSlam Memories

In honor of WWE's Summerslam later tonight, I've been checking out some of the classic videos that would kick off the event every year and some classic Summerslam matches on 24/7. Back then, Summerslam always fell on the Monday Night of the first day of school. School starting was always rough, but getting out after that first day, and knowing Summerslam was happening that night was a huge thrill. Summerslam 88 was the first WWE Pay Per View that I ever ordered. Seeing the Ultimate Warrior surprise the HonkyTonk Man and win the Intercontinental title from him was the first thing on that show that had me jumping up and down with madness. Honky had just held the title for well over a year, and the Warrior destroyed him. Of course the classic MegaPowers vs. MegaBucks showdown was the hugely hyped highlight of the night, and with Jesse "The Body" Ventura as the special ref, this first SummerSlam main event was great. Summerslam 89 had the Ultimate Warrior regaining the Intercontinental Title from Rick Rude, and he began his road to WrestleMania 6 as the next big main event star. We also saw Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake take on Macho Man and Zeus, which was interesting as was anytime Zeus was in the ring. Summerslam 90 My memories include seeing the Texas Tornado Kerry Von Erich defeat Mr. Perfect for the IC title, the Hulk Hogan return to take on Earthquake, and the Ultimate Warrior defeat Rick Rude in a cage match, in which i thought at the time Rude had a definite chance of winning. SummerSlam 91 had multiple memories, the match made in heaven with Mach Man and Elizabeth's wedding, the match made in hell with Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior taking on the Triangle of Terror with Sid as the referee, the Legion of Doom becoming the first and only team to win the AWA, NWA, and WWE Tag Team Titles as they defeated the Nasty Boys, and of course Bret Hart's classic win over Mr. Perfect for the IC title. '92 was the unforgettable Wembley Stadium show, with a record crowd witnessing the legendary British Bulldog vs. Bret Hart IC title classic (My oh my the IC title produced so many Summerslam memories). The list goes on and on with great Summerslam Memories.

Today, Summerslam is still one of the "Big Four" pay per views of the year, although is doesn't have the same special feeling it did in the beginning, this year WWE has at least done a good job making the event feel "special" with the return of Triple H, and even Rey Mysterio. Hopefully tonight will be one of the top pay per views of the year, which will also FINALLY hopefully end the reign of John Cena, and let a new era begin! Ultimate Warrior vs. Iron Sheik, the Dream Match Goes Down!

Well, until a couple of days ago, I never looked at the Ultimate Warrior vs. the Iron Sheik as much of a dream match, but to my surprise, this one was actually quite interesting, and sadly, it provided more entertainment than 3/4 of WWE TV. Goes to show that 2 legends, in any given environment, can give us a show that will grab our attention no matter the circumstance, as where WWE puts on the same boring crap with the same guys they shove down our throats on a weekly basis. This showdown took place at a convention that also featured autographs from Hulk Hogan, and Bruno Sammartino among others. Too bad we didn't get a Hulkamania run in on this little confrontation, that could've been classic. Well the video is here, and we pick up right after apparently the Iron Shiek attempted to shake the Ultimate Warriors hand, and Warrior turned him down, calling him a hypocrite for going around saying that Warrior was on drugs, and that Warrior was a lesbian. Would have been interesting to see who would have whooped who's ass in this situation, as Sheik in his glory days would've broken warriors leg in 9 places, but being Sheik is in his 70's, and Warrior still looks to be in pretty good shape, would have been interesting...oh well, at least some moron got bitch slapped! On to the footage.........

Let the Anti-WWE Begin, Hogan and Big Show hit the Indies!

Well, on the heels of something i expected, which was WWE pulling Jerry Lawler out of the upcoming Memphis show on Friday April 27th, due to fear that Hulk Hogan vs. Jerry Lawler might outshine their crap, Memphis has fired back with an even BIGGER match, a match that was originally supposed to be on this years WrestleMania, but due to WWE thinking John Cena and Bobby Lashley are what people REALLY want these days, it didn't. The match is the Hulkster himself, taking on the Giant Paul Wight, aka the Big Show. This has to be the biggest indy match, in more than 20 years, if not more. The Giant is free from WWE and is said to be in better shape than ever, while Hogan always will be the biggest attraction of all time. I'm more hyped for this match by far than I would be if it was happening in a WWE ring. This match will hopefully light another fire that will take on WWE, whether is TnA trying to get Hogan and or the Giant to sign with them, or if its Hogan going forward with his proposed legends tour, SOMEthing good should come of this. Also on the card are legends Jimmy Hart, Koko B. Ware, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, Greg the Hammer Valentine, and more! Hopefully this is a success, and the legends can go on tour and outdraws WWE's Bobby Assley and John Fagna love-a-thon, and WWE will be forced to get their shit together, or go back to being the #2 promotion they were when WCW/nWo kicked their asses. The Ultimate Clash of Legends goes down April 27th from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, and tickets goin on sale this Saturday, April 14th.

Flashback: Hulk Hogans Rock N Wrestling!

With the Road to WrestleMania 23 in full swing. I've been thinking about some great old school moments from the glory days of wrestling in the 80, and will be doing a series of blogs on some events that had a great impact on my own experience as a young wrestling fan. In the next few days I'll be taking a look at the first Saturday Nights Main Event that I watched on TV back in 1986 and how exciting the event was for me as a 6 year old experiencing the wrestling explosion in the 80's, and HulkaMania.

Speaking of Hulkamania, one of the coolest things for me as a kid who was just getting big into wrestling, was to find out that Hulk Hogan had his own cartoon! Hulk Hogans Rock N Wrestling was definitely one of my favorite cartoons in the Saturday Morning line up. It basically followed the basic formula that most of the 80's cartoons followed. Hulk Hogan led the good guy group of Andre the Giant, Jimmy Snuka, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, Hillbilly Jim, Captain Lou Albano and Wendi Richter against Roddy Pipers bad guy group of Big John Studd, Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Mr. Fuji, Bobby Heenan, and the Fabulous Moolah. Very little actual wrestling took place, it was more about the good guys solving a mystery about stolen jewels or a some sort of competition between the good and bad guys. I've read some reviews online, and most are not good, saying that the voice acting is bad (the wrestles did not use their actual voices), and that the storylines were generic (hey maybe they were). But at age 5-7, I wasn't critiquing cartoons on their voice acting, I was just all about fun, and this cartoon provided plenty of it. But personally, I like Retroland.com's look at Rock N Wrestling

In between cartoons, they would have live segments usually hosted by Mean Gene. Sometimes they provided an interview with the actual wrestlers, and sometimes there were some antics like going car shopping with Andre. I seem to remember Andre finally picking a car and having to cut a hole in the roof so his head would fit....can't beat that for entertainment. I was sure to catch this every Saturday morning, and even the commercials for the big rubber LJN WWF action figures were awesome, they sure had some of us in the stores buying away!

I read about a year ago that a company had bought the rights to release Hulk Hogans Rock N Wrestling on DVD, and I sure hope its true. No matter what the reviews say, I loved seeing the WWF superstars in cartoon form, and the cartoon gave me some great memories. There are some Rock N Wrestling video tapes out there for sale still if you just can't wait for the DVD's to come out. I'll even provide you the awesome intro to this cartoon, which is the same music Hulk Hogan used as entrance music for a while in 84/85. This song got me pumped up every Saturday and ready for some Rock N Wrestling.
