Metallica Tour Dates!

Like most people that appreciate metal, I have been a huge Metallica fan for many years, since I was a wee lad hanging out with my older brother and listening to Kill Em All. Sadly my brothers taste in music has declined as he now listens to the likes of Nickelback and Puddle Of Mud, blagh. But my taste has remained. I remember the Christmas morning that I poured the contents of my stocking on the floor to find Ride The Lightning and And Justice For All inside of it. Even my parents, although old, knew Metallica was great.

Sadly, Metallica decline to poop. Their latest efforts have dwindled to shit and St. Anger was terrible. But their new album, Death Magnetic, has much promise. And it will be released on September 12th through everything, even on Guitar Hero III. The entire album will be available to play on Guitar Hero III on September 12th. And October 21st, their new tour kicks off, right here, in AZ. I shall be there. Check below to see if they are headed your way, this is just the first leg of their tour so if your city is not listed fear not, it might be at a later date.

Also check out this awesome video taken over the weekend of Metallica rocking out with none other than the King himself, King Diamond. Sadly no Metallica/King Diamond tour is coming, I think that it would cause the Earth to implode with the awesome power of both coming together on a tour.

  1. As crappy as Metallica's new stuff has been, they're smart enough to know what their fans want to see live. Most of their shows are filled with their 80's and early 90's hits, so it's definitely worth going to see.
